Alex Pentland

Alex Pentland is a pioneering computational scientist and Toshiba Professor at MIT, known for foundational work in wearable tech, biometrics, big data, and “social physics,” and for leading the Human Dynamics Lab and Media Lab entrepreneurship initiatives. He co-founded Media Lab Asia, helped launch numerous startups, and is among the world’s most-cited researchers in his field.
